Cindy Green

When describing Cindy Green’s talents, abilities, and contributions to McDonogh School, a good word to use might be “多个.”她的 多个 talents and abilities are most evident in the collection of photographs and videos she has recorded over the years. She has taken on 多个 projects ranging from producing monthly Learning for Living videos to publishing an annual employee photo directory. For years, she has shared her craft with 多个 third graders in a popular video class in which she taught students the art of photography and videography.

Cindy has held 多个 titles during her McDonogh career, each reflecting the growing demand for her support. It is not unusual for her to receive 多个 requests each week from faculty and staff members seeking assistance with a variety of projects. She regularly pulls “all-nighters” editing at her computer and trying 多个 ways to make each project “picture perfect.” She does the job of 多个 people, and she never says “no.”

Cindy began to volunteer at McDonogh when her younger child entered our kindergarten in 1997. A year later, she became the Lower School’s assistant science teacher. She incorporated her love of technology into this position and in a short time transitioned into a new role as McDonogh’s “special projects” person. So successful and “in demand” was she that Cindy soon became our “multimedia specialist.”

Cindy's goal has always been to create, 开发, and implement projects that promote learning, support teachers and staff, and celebrate students. Along the way, she has chronicled the school’s special events and historic moments from the past two decades. Thankfully for us, much of her work lives on the 媒体 Hub of our website where it will be available for years to come.

In retirement, Cindy is looking forward to spending more time with her family and two busy dogs. Cindy, we thank you for all you have done for the McDonogh family, and we wish you 多个 years of happy retirement!
